The Journal of Veterinary and Applied Biosciences (JVABS) is an international, double-blind peer-reviewed scholarly journal dedicated to high-quality research in veterinary medicine, animal health, One Health, and applied biosciences. Published three times a year, JVABS provides a rigorous platform for original research, reviews, case reports, and short communications from researchers, clinicians, academicians, and professionals worldwide.
The Journal of Veterinary and Applied Biosciences (JVABS) was established to provide a credible, transparent, and internationally oriented publishing platform for the veterinary, animal, biomedical, and applied biosciences research community.
We believe that rigorous peer-reviewed science is essential for progress in animal health, food safety, public health, livestock production, wildlife conservation, and One Health. Through double-blind peer review, editorial independence, and clear publication policies, JVABS aims to maintain high standards of academic publishing.
The journal serves researchers, veterinary practitioners, clinicians, academicians, postgraduate scholars, and industry professionals across the globe, providing a respected venue for basic, clinical, translational, and applied research.
Every eligible submission is evaluated through double-blind peer review by qualified subject experts to assess originality, methodology, clarity, ethical compliance, and scientific significance.
We welcome submissions from researchers across countries, institutions, and career stages, while applying the same editorial and ethical standards to every manuscript.
JVABS follows internationally accepted publication ethics principles, including policies on plagiarism, authorship, data integrity, animal ethics, conflicts of interest, corrections, and retractions.
JVABS supports responsible access to scientific knowledge and encourages broad dissemination of published research to readers, practitioners, and policymakers.
JVABS considers manuscripts across a broad and relevant range of veterinary, animal, biomedical, environmental, and applied bioscience disciplines.
JVAB considers four types of scholarly contributions. All submissions must follow our author guidelines and are subject to double-blind peer review.
Full-length papers reporting novel empirical findings from laboratory, field, or clinical studies. Must include introduction, methods, results, and discussion.
Comprehensive, critical synthesis of the existing literature on a focused topic within veterinary or applied biosciences. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses are especially welcomed.
Documentation of unusual, instructive, or previously unreported clinical cases in animal patients with diagnostic, therapeutic, or scientific significance.
Brief reports of preliminary findings, methodological innovations, or important observations that warrant rapid dissemination to the scientific community.
JVAB is a new journal currently pursuing indexing in major scientific databases. Applications are in progress.
